How it works, explained
1. Integrated with ID Merge
Use the powerful ID Merge program prior to the shoot to simply turn schools supplied student data (such as a CSV file) into shooter cards
with a barcode for every student. On the day of the shoot these cards can be distributed out to students.
2 & 3. Zap and Snap
On photo day simply use the barcode reader attached to the camera to zap a students barcode and then snap as many photos as you want! If you
need to shoot multiple poses of a student keep shooting until you have the shots and then read the next barcode. No need to rescan the same student’s barcode between shots, it’s as simple as that!
4. Rapid Post Photography Process
Importantly, scanning the barcode allows the data to be stored in the camera's picture
file, ready for linking that picture with the appropriate student data, an easy and rapid process using ID Merge. Focus on your photography and not
computers when shooting!
Minimal Extra Equipment
Besides your normal studio equipment there's a minimal amount of additional equipment you need
at the school shoot – besides the Fuji S5 (or the alternatives listed below*) and the shooter cards, you just need the ultra mobile barcode reader
mounted on the base of the camera.
